VOLUNTEER
At CR Vision In Motion we believe in offering opportunities for all community members to succeed and perform at their highest potential. We rely on community volunteers who are willing to share their time and talents in carrying out our mission.
Volunteer Needs Include:
Office Assistant/Receptionist
Assist with answering the phones, scheduling appointments, conducting client intakes, filing, and typing. Flexible Schedule.
Group Activities Assistant
Assist with vision wellness group activities by helping program participants operate a Wii, complete balance board exercises, and craft activities. Determined by class schedule.
Special Events/Fundraising Volunteers
Provide assistance with special event fundraising activities or with annual fundraising development plan. Flexible Schedule.
Newsletter Editor
Develop and coordinate production of CR Vision In Motion newsletter, Help write program articles. Produced twice per year; Flexible Schedule.
Volunteer Eligibility
- Most opportunities require that volunteers be 18 years of age or older
- Pass background checks, including adult dependent and child abuse checks.
- Agree to uphold client confidentiality
- Commit to an established volunteer schedule for a minimum of three months.
